Under 21 semi final

The under 21 team lost the county semi final today by 3-09 to 1-16 against Crossabeg Ballymurn. In fairness we were our hurled in most areas of the field and we have only three fortunate goals to thank for keeping the game so close. The score at half time was 2-03 to 0-10 and this showed that Ballymurn were much better at taking their scores than we were. So this match brought to an end a good runĀ for the team had already won the district final last week. However tiredness must surely have played a role in this result as all of our players had to play yesterday for either the juniors or the intermediates, wheras none of the opposition had this problem.
