Biggest Loser Bog Run

At 2.00 pm on Sunday a group of approx. 130 people gathered at Tinnacross to take part in the 3rd Bog Run. The Leaders and their teams have crossed the first hurdle with flying colours. The sun was shining, the ground was hard and the obstacles this year made it more interesting for the teams. The first man home was John Dolan followed closely by Diarmuid Fenlon, Dean Fenlon & Dec Kelly. The first woman home was Orla Stafford followed by Mary Carton, Nicola Kinsella and Bridget Stafford. A hugh thank you is extended to Jim & Josie Gahan, Ted Nolan and Danny Murphy for the use of their lands without which the bog run would not take place. The committee would also like to thank the stewards, photographers, leaders, participants, & supporters.

Our next big event is The Harrow Vision Singing Contest on Saturday the 7th February when Yvonne Sweeney, Mag Ellix and Oliver Gahan will compete against each other.

They hope all teams will come along to support them.
