    Cúl Camp 2014

    Monageer Boolavogue GAA club held a Cúl Camp week from 21st to 25th July. Over one hundred children attended the sporting camp. During the week the children met with players from the County Wexford teams. Don’t forget to check out the gallery for pictures of an enjoyable week. Many thanks to all involved.

    Any player who did not receive their kit will do so when they are delivered to the club. Don’t forget to check the website for further postings.

    The U16 Camogie team will play a 12 aside championship match against Oylegate in the Monageer GAA pitch on Wednesday 16th July at 7:30pm.

    Wexford Camogie County Board/Clubs Draw

    We are asking the members of Monageer Boolavogue Camogie Club to support the upcoming draw to raise money for Wexford Camogie County Board. The proceeds of the sale of these tickets will also benefit the local Camogie Club, so we would appreciate if you would make an effort to sell these tickets to family and friends.

    One ticket costs €5.00

    Book of 3 tickets cost €10.00 (If you sell a book of tickets for €10.00 please mark that you received €10.00 on the back of the book and keep the tickets stapled together)

    The Shane Fenlon Perpetual Cup in aid of Hospice Homecare will be held on Saturday 21st June 2014 at 12.30pm in the Monageer GAA pitch.

    The Monageer Boolavogue Camogie club will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting on Wed 28th May at 8.30pm to elect a new chairperson.

  • U16 Camogie Monageer Boolavogue v’s Davidstown

    On Wednesday 7th May 14 the first round of the U16 championship took place in the Monageer/Boolavogue GAA pitch between Davidstown/Courtnacuddy and Monageer/Boolavogue. The opening point of the game came from Monageer/Boolavogue and this was followed shortly by a goal. This was the pattern of the game with more goals and points coming from Emma O’Dowd, Ailbhe Nolan, Michelle Kehoe, Ciara McBride and Sinead Gahan while Davidstown/Courtnacuddy settled down and scored some points.  At half time Monageer/Boolavogue where leading and they came out in the second half to score some more points and goals. Davidstown/Courtnacuddy started to make a come back but Monageer/Boolavogue proved to strong for them with the home team winning 9 9 to 1 8.There was great team work by all the girls throughout the field and well done to all girls and mentors.
