  • Cycle for Crumlin Hospital

    The presentation of the cheque from the cycle for Crumlin Hospital will be made in the Monageer Tavern on Tuesday 27th August. All are welcome

  • Junior Football Quarter Final

    Our Junior Football team will play Tara Rocks on Sunday Evening at 5.30 pm in Bellefield. All support would be appreciated

  • Horseshoes County Finals

    Monageer will host the division 2 and 3 county finals on afternoon of Sat the 17th, in the GAA Club ground with our own club from Monageer competing. Best of luck to the lads and hopefully a good crowd will attend and support the event.

  • National Youth Cycling in Monageer

    Slaney cycle club is hosting the national youth cycling championships this year and it will be held on Saturday 24th August in Monageer GAA pitches therefore no pitches will be available as all facilities will be needed to accommodate this event. Please come along and support the event and the young people involved.

  • Shane Fenlon 7-A-Side Perpetual Cup

    Shane Fenlon 7-A-Side Perpetual Cup

    Monageer-Boolavogue GAA grounds will host the Shane Fenlon 7-a-side perpetual cup on Saturday 22nd June. All funds

    raised go to the Hospice Homecare, so please come out and support this worthy cause.

    On the day a bouncy castle will be in place along with BBQ and other fun activities. And of course the 7-a-side hurling tournament!!!!

    Presentation of the winners cup and trophies will take place in the Monageer Tavern afterwards. There also be an auction with the following items

    – Signed Munster Rugby Jersey by past and current players

    – Framed 2005 Lions jersey signed by Donncha O’Callaghan, Paul O’Connell, Keith Earls and Ronan O’Gara

    – Signed hurl by Henry ‘King’ Shefflin

  • Rackard League Final

    The Monageer Boolavogue boys won the Semi Final Rackard League match on Monday in Oulart by 1 point. They will play in the Rackard League Final against Kilrush on Thursday 13th

    June at 7.30pm in Wexford Park. We wish the boys all the best in the match. Everyone is welcome to attend the Final on Thursday night.

  • Shane Fenlon Pool Tournament final

    The final of the pool tournament will take place tonight with Lesley Walsh taking on Murt Sweeney in a first to 4 frames match, starting at half 8, in the Monageer Tavern. All of the proceeds of this event are going to Hospice, and all support will be greatly appreciated. A raffle, music and great pool is in store on the night. Music is by the Batt Murphy.

  • Harrow Fun Cycle

    The Harrow cycle group are holding their Annual Fun Cycle Run from Monageer to Wexford and back at 1pm on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd June.  All proceeds to the Cancer Unit at the Children’s Hospital Crumlin. Anyone interested in partaking, please phone Josie Gahan on  087 6642057 for further details.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  This is the 11th year of the cycle and over €100,000 has been raised to date.

  • Fully certified AED Course

    Fully certified AED Course

    A fully certified AED Course will be held in the GAA complex on Friday 24th May 2013 from 7 to 9.30pm. Please note that certificates are available on request and for a cost of €5. The course is currently booked out but if you wish to put your name on a waiting list please contact Emma Lupton on 087-9585673 or Jonathan Dunne on 083-0022912.
