    Under 16 Leinster Hurling League Final

    Our U.16 hurlers are playing in Leinster League final against Ratoath (Co. Meath) on Saturday 4th May in O’Moore Pk., Portlaoise at 1.15pm.

    A bus will be leaving Monageer at 10:30 on Saturday and a limited number of seats are still available. Anyone wishing to book a seat should text Noel Kinsella at 086-7932786, with your name(s).

  • Field Evening on Sunday 2nd June @ 6.30 p.m.

    We will be holding our Annual Field Evening on Sunday 2nd June @ 6.30pm in the field beside the hall.  All the usual attractions will be there with John Carton and Aidan Fenlon cooking burgers again, fishing, wheel of fortune, bottle stall, teas and coffees, milking the cow, guess the weight of calf, penalty shoot out, hurling targets, welly throwing, goldfish, bouncy castle and many other attractions.  Please come along for a great evening and enjoy some chat with friends and neighbours.

    The Under 16 hurlers have had two great wins in the Leinster League this week. On Easter Monday they travelled to Dunboyne, Co. Meath and came away with a win on a scoreline of 4-21 to 2-4. They followed this up with another great away win in Camross, Co. Laois last night (Thurs) on a score of 6-7 to 2-8.

    30 of our 6/7 & 8 year old boys and girls will be representing our club in Croke Park this Thursday 4th April. They will be participating in the

    Croke Park Activity day for u8’s. For all players and parents travelling on the day please find details below.

    • For those booked on bus please be at complex for 08:40am
    • Please ensure all players have hurl/helmet/boots/shinpads & shorts/socks in M/B colours
    • Everybody to bring packed lunch for picnic after the game

    A First Aid & CPR introduction/Refresher has been organised for all coaches. It will be held in the meeting room of our clubhouse on Fri 5th April starting at 7pm.
