The U14 camogie league match due to be held in the
Shamrocks pitch on Saturday 6th April has been cancelled.
1st Fixture – Monageer Boolavogue -v- St. Johns Volunteers on Saturday 20th April in Oylegate at 6.30 p.m.
2nd Fixture – Monageer Boolavogue -v- Bunclody on Sunday 28th April in Farmleigh at 5.00 p.m.
The Under 16 hurlers have had two great wins in the Leinster League this week. On Easter Monday they travelled to Dunboyne, Co. Meath and came away with a win on a scoreline of 4-21 to 2-4. They followed this up with another great away win in Camross, Co. Laois last night (Thurs) on a score of 6-7 to 2-8.
The third, and final, group game is against Michael Dwyers, Wicklow on Sat 6th April at 3.30 in Monageer. This is great opportunity to show your support for a great bunch of lads who
are doing the club proud.

Our Junior Hurlers went down to Ferns in Div 4 of the All Co League on a bitterly cold evening in Monageer on Monday last. Having led at half time by 0-8 to 0-2 we conceded some soft goals in the second half to fall a goal behind with 10 minutes left. We responded well scoring 1-2 without reply to regain the lead by 2 points entering stoppage time. Ferns then grabbed a late goal and point at the death to take home the points from a game that we dominated for long spells. Best on the day were Daire Turner, Sean Doran and Adrian O’Dowd. 30 of our 6/7 & 8 year old boys and girls will be representing our club in Croke Park this Thursday 4th April. They will be participating in the
Croke Park Activity day for u8’s. For all players and parents travelling on the day please find details below.

Monageer Boolavogue GAA & Camogie clubs were just one of the groups who took part in the St. Patrick’s Day parade this year and received a prize for their group entry. Thanks to all the parents, children and helpers who
took part in the parade.
The Intermediate Camogie team are playing their first league match on the bank holiday Monday 1st April in Oylegate at 4pm. The girls will be in Oylegate at 3.30pm to prepare for the match. All support would be greatly appreciated.
A First Aid & CPR introduction/Refresher has been organised for all coaches. It will be held in the meeting room of our clubhouse on Fri 5th April starting at 7pm.
