Facing the elements in the second half our lads battled manfully and were unlucky not to be closer in the end after a decent second half with good displays from Sean Doran, Sean McCabe, Graeme O’Reilly, James Gahan, Paddy Breen and Larry Murphy Team; Morgan Gahan, Sean Doran, Daire Turner, Declan Kelly, Graeme O’Reilly, Paddy Breen, Paul Gahan, Liam Gahan(0-1), Sean McCabe, Ed Rowesome(0-7frees), David Breen(0-2), Larry Murphy, James Gahan(0-2), John Ivory, James Sweeney. Our intermediate hurlers picked up a vital brace of points in their Division 3 hurling league outing against a lively Clongeen which was played under lights in Castleboro on friday last. Clongeen took a firm grip on proceedings in the second half and we were hanging on a bit at the end, despite another two goals finished by O’Loughlin.
